CEOs 2 Go is a unique consultancy firm focused entirely on the requirements and goals of our clients. Our philosophy is based on a simple set of principles:
Vision
We understand that every business starts with a vision; a dream to offer a product, service or technology that may be unique, or uniquely positioned. So it is with our enterprise. We believe that we have something to offer young firms. Our vision, our dream if you will, is to improve the odds of success for our clients by leveraging our business knowledge and their passion.
Consideration
Truly learning our client’s business and industry are central to the success we seek for ourselves and those we serve. We gain this understanding by a series of probing, yet constructive interviews at the outset of our relationship. Except in the most general sense, we have no “formula” for what we do. We have a broad model, but we fully acknowledge that every client’s circumstances are entirely unique.
Planning
By definition, planning is a consultative process. We take this process very seriously and before formulating, for example, a “go to market” strategy, we will have listened very carefully to our client’s concerns. And we are ever conscious of the fact that free markets are like warfare, in the sense that market economics can change in a moment. As Dwight D. Eisenhower said, “Plans are nothing; planning is everything”. We don’t take this to mean that no plan is necessary, but rather, that every plan must be flexible and adaptable.
Execution
One of the primary differentiators of our business model is evident when our plans are put into effect. Unlike some others, who may not wish to get caught up in the rough-and-tumble of attempting to generate revenues, we actually become involved. We will become sufficiently educated in your product or technology to the point of being able to make cold calls or product presentations. In the war for market share, we will be in the trenches with you. While this is never a permanent answer for our clients, we believe we must know enough about market issues and challenges to be able to effectively support and motivate the long-term sales force.
Results
At the end of the day, all that counts are results. We expect to be judged by those alone. Our compensation formula reflects this fact. We receive the bulk of our reward on the back end, by executing properly for clients in whose business model we have decided to take a risk. While our compensation plan is no guarantee of success, it does – at the least – represent a better alignment of our interests with those of our clients, than with more traditional methods.
